【Full Nature Farms talk-cum-visit were successfully completed!】
The Surein Foundation on 18th Jan, organised a talk-cum-visit to The Full Nature Farms in Kwai Chung, for more than 40 participants. The object was to understand how a Hong Kong-based urban farming startup could successfully and sustainably growing greens in a multi-storey factory building, and without soil, thanks to the pragmatic and ingenious design, IoT know-how, devotion and entrepreneur skills.
Presenting the talk were Mr Ray Lok, Founder and CEO of Full Nature Farms, and Jason, the Farm’s engineer. They showed how an AI-driven smart irrigation system may accurately monitor water supply and carbon emissions, thus reducing costs, energy consumption and carbon emission, restoring biodiversity, improving crop yields thereby enhancing sustainability. The audience who comprised secondary students and teachers, were deeply impressed.
This talk is the second event in 2025. The third one will be the Foundation’s 7th Anniversary Talk and Prize Presentation ceremony, to be held on 22nd February 2025. All are welcome. Please watch out in this webpage!
